Rovers announced that work had started on the east stand extension (Article 23rd Feb).
There have been other snippets on Hull KR TV and in Hudgell's programme notes.
Quite impressed that you don't know this, btw. I might try setting my television volume to an odd number that is not a multiple of five over the weekend, in solidarity.
Edit - I like seats. Covered seats; with a cushion ideally. I'll even sit in number 17 or 29 if I have to... as long as I can have a prawn sandwich.

That I don't know what - we're saying the same thing, aren't we? I may well have missed the end March confirmation of ERDF funding, sorry.

No mate, they have only cleared the ground in preperation.
I have, however, found out this morning that work has been suspended due to Hull KR not being granted planning permission yet. They started the groundwork hoping that it would be granted during this period, but it hasnt happened.

Indeed, it's not as if it's come as a surprise that we're planning on building a new stand and I don't think you have to be that much of a construction expert to assume that if you're thinking of building a whopping big structure complete with crematorium chimney you might have to get permission to do so.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
