Sorry my reply took so long... i've bee n trying to work it out :)

[*] 1st tee shot lost
[*] 2nd tee shot (3rd) into trees on the left
[*] 3rd tee shot (5th) into the trees on the right
[*] Found the 2nd tee shot in the deep bush and he hits a 2 yards shot (4th)
[*] Then he hits it against a rock and it bounces back into himself (5th and 6th for hitting himself)
[*] 7 shots later he finally makes it to the rough next to the bush area (13)
[*] Plays the next shot from 60 odd feet away to 6ft (14)
[*] 1 putt :) (15)

Think my most is a 10

His head just went though. At least he was laughing about it afterwards. Stupid thing is he's played well apart from that 1 hold and would have been under par :)

I think I have had 11 once and 10 quite a few times, most of them on the same damn hole aswell :x

The only number I have never had lower than that is a 1

Is anyone following Shooter McGavin on twitter? He just uses quotes from Happy Gilmore to take the mickey out of pro golfers,Some pretty funny stuff.

I was playing in a club comp last year, and one of my playing partners had a 24 (yes a 24)
I wouldn't mind, he was playing off 19hcp, we'd reached the 10th (and he was only 2 over par & REALLY STEADY)
The 10th is only a 280 yd par 4, with a 40yd wide fairway.
He hit a decent drive, but then duffed his second into a greenside bunker, he then proceded to take another 19 shots to get out of the (not that tough) bunker, another chip onto the green and then two putt.

total muppetry

Anyone watching the golf?

Luke Donald is in a play-off and if he wins he is the new world #1, if he loses Westwood is #1, we can't lose :ROCKS:

Oh well he's lost after a bad lie in a bunker, still at least Lee Westwood is #1 now

I think Donald is turning into one of these golfers who does well in the "rankings", but doesn't win much.
To have won only 7 events be the time he's in his mid 30's, with such a high ranking, shows he's just very good at getting a lot of top 10 finishes, but few wins.
Donald rarely shoots 4 rounds in the 60's (which is virtually essential, if you want to win golf tournaments).
You can guarantee, every tournament he enters, there's a couple of rounds in the mid 60's, thrown in with a couple of average rounds, or a round of absolute dross.
Needs to start winning things, quickly.

It really doesn't sound good :(

I have been a massive fan of his since I started watching golf, although I never had the pleasure of seeing him in his prime I have always watched his highlights/best moments with a big smile on my face and hoped that I could do what he did one day!

Not a chance, the bloke is a one of a kind!

Search the word 'Legend' which is a word used far too often nowadays IMO and this does not really do the man justice!
