A very random question with very little for anyone to go on though so can see why people would find it funny to post things like those above!

I was thinking the same I think Cas turnstiles are one of the worst they were based on a size 0 person.

Here's something I don't get - a year or two ago we were told on here (or a fans forum) that we were getting electronic turnstiles. So I (like probably many others) assumed that it would be like the ones at Man City I believe where they're unmanned and you just swipe yourself in. Therefore, if the club is still now having to pay a guy on each turnstyle to swipe your card, then what was the point in the new system, why didn't we just keep the tear-out ones rather then waste money on an electrical system, if that makes sense? :EH: :?

Bit rich. I commented on this quirky asthetic taste (of which I am in full admiration btw), the two Rovers fans accused him of being too fond of food.

Not true at all wormy wen u go to cas u have to starve urself for a week to even look at the turnstiles, I'm not big but even I look at them and think my god these are so tiny, I think it's a perfectly Gud question to ask if people are concerned about how they are going to get into the ground.

Thank you to those who gave informative answers.

I'm bringing my auntie to the game on Friday who has a bad hip. She doesn't have any problems with the turnstiles at Wigan because they are tall and she can walk into them straight (without turning to the side) but the older style turnstiles at Salford cause a problem as they are narrow so she has to turn and go in sideways which causes problems.

It's nice to know if she has problems they will let her in a side gate.

Thanks again to those who helped me. Let's hope its a good game on Friday :)

they have 2 or 3 stewards outside usually who are happy to help, was on crutches last year after breaking an ankle and they are happy to take your ticket off you to be scanned by the turnstyle operator then let you in the gate just ask them you'll have no bother.

We have 'proper' turnstiles at Hull KR, none of this new fangled wide malarky, you have to stand sideways and raise your arms or you can't gerrin.

The answer Hudgell gave at the time was that some people were reporting that the season ticket book was lost, and most of the time the club had to believe them and issued new passes. Therefore, you could give the book to someone else and get a duplicate for yourself. As i never had my pass checked by a steward,it would be easy to get in with the lost book. The new card alerts the turnstile worker if that card has already been used for that match and if it`s reported as lost the old card is cancelled like a credit card.Personally,i couldn`t rip off
the club i support like that and i don`t think any true supporter would.

They might of learnt afew things - like headingly all swipe cards/tickets and all unmanned - strange that its full of adults but 3k tickets are sold at consession prices... (away stand)

A slight misinterpretation there Wormy, I merely suggested they may be of a large build. They may have had a gym obsession to go with their love of turnstiles.

Either way BR, the O/P got their answer and came back to thank us.
