I don't like to blame referees and I generally think Child gets far more abuse than he deserves. Regardless of what people think, I don't think he favours one side over the other, so isn't to blame for any results.

However there's no doubt he is a bit stricter with penalties than other referees (rightly or wrongly). Bearing that in mind, I personally wouldn't select Sibbit this week. Combining this year's records of Child & Sibbit, it's a recipe for disaster for our side.

Picking Sibbit for this game would be kind of like inviting an alcoholic to a party with a free bar.

Very true, I think the way Hull reacted to the game against Cas was appalling. Ok, he gave a lot of penalties but that doesn't stop you missing tackles!!

As for the Sibbit situation, I agree. He gave so many away against Hull without the strictest of refs so it could be a penalty fest Saturday

We're bad enough at giving away technical penalties at the ruck without Sibbit in the side.

If you don't commit the offence, you won't give a penalty away.
