cross had no intention of playing the ball at all ,even the sky angles show he never looked at the ball once. he hit cockayne before he had the ball when it was on its way down, cross was very lucky to stay on the field... a stronger ref may have dismissed him for it. . take the blinkers off and watch it in slow mo...... reckon he will be up before the rfl for it...... but then again ...maybe not ...its a leeds player after all

There's only one little team in Hull, and we've beaten them already this season!
Congrats Robins, you were the better team on the day.

Not that much in it for me. Impact wasn't high or particularly dangerous, Ben wasn't in the air, it was just a standing player getting smashed by a committed forward. The only issue was, did Cross hit Ben before he touched the ball? Seeing the replays, it's certainly not clear cut - and certainly close enough to receive the benefit of any doubt.
I know Ben's not a natural taking the high ball, but if he had caught/attempted the ball in a Briscoe style of take it in mid air and use your body as a shield, then Cross couldn't have even attempted a hit/tackle like he did.

After watching the game at CP I thought Cockayne was MOTM, but having watched the Sky replay I thought Green was excellent, a few things never came off for him, but he tried a variation of things and some of his play was top notch, can't wait until Dobbo gets back and they get the partnership back on track. Galea was very good as well and Vella showed his leadership as well.
No-one had a poor game and it was nice to see Colbon get a bit of confidence back, despite his sill kick over attempt far too aearly.
