Don't think Wigan will give away 13 penalties as cheaply as Leeds did, think they have more dangerous players indevidually than Leeds too. I would also say they are much more of a team than Leeds at the moment, ok so they are struggling a bit to get consistancy but they are still organised and so dangerous.
This said Rovers playing with desire and passion like today we have a good chance of beating them. We do need to keep working hard on defence though because we are leaking too many points and Wigan will punnish us.

The way this season's going so far I don't think there's such a thing as a shock result anymore. Last time we met Wigan the gulf in class seemed enormous, but if we show the kind of spirit that got us past Leeds, who knows.

Quite. It's shaping up to be a very odd season. Results in the main are impossible to call.

Agree with all this but if we complete to 89% again we will be in it for large spells.
I think what some fans fail to realise is that nowadays it's more about whether you turn up rather than who you play as such Wigan found that to there cost being 46-10 down on their own muck before Catalans "put the cue on the rack" (as Kear would say) and let Wigan back into the game.
If Rovers play a more direct game like they did yesterday then I think Rovers can expose Wigan's frailties in that I think Wigan's pack are a penalty machine when the going gets tough. I think Deacon is a massive miss for them and the opportunity is there to take the points IMO...

That will be dependant on who the ref is, if its Thaler we would get penalised for our player getting his head took off.

As much as I fear a Wigan backlash they none the less are in poor form (losing 2/3 with a fortunate draw in the middle). We'll need to shut down Tomkins and not let him run unimpeded along the line.
