Agreed, but people will concede lying on penalties if they are tired and the injuries and therefore lack of subs will make that worse. It was the penalties that killed it for us again. Need to get the points against Salford now.

Wow. First game this season where I've genuinely felt appalled. First 20 was so promising, then a stupid penalty from sibbit on the line let's them in! Defensively and discipline wise we were ABYSMAL. End of. I aren't too concerned with ball in hand, just tighten up that defence or else you can forget the 8.

Seems to me we offered little in attack, they always seemed likely to score when they the ball and amount of penalties we give away just makes defending harder (and we dont appear great at defending)
Disappointing, thought we had a chance of beating a Hull team who havent started season all that well

They did seem to march up the field very easily. One second its Hull have the ball from a kick or penalty and the next second its "thats Briscoe tackled on the Bulls 30".

No excuses really, Hull FC were dying for a win and they wanted it more than us. Agar gets the fans off his back for another week and we go back to square one.
We really missed Langley, Elima & Scruton tonight. We seemed to tire in the last 15 minutes and we weren't helped by the sinbinning of Sibbit. I think if we have a fit squad Sibbit won't be getting a look in.
After a fantastic start we let them back into the game, why we couldn't kick on and put a few more scores on I don't know. We lacked composure in the final third and yet again put down too much ball which contributed to our own downfall. It's really frustrating but I still believe we'll get it right eventually and we are showing glimpses that we can turn it on when we need to. It's a shame we can't pull together a decent 80 mins (similar to the Leeds game at MM) every week.

Think some people are being harsh towards Mick Potter.
Whilst we may not be firing on all cylinders, we are definately playing better than the previous two years with McBanana in charge.
I have full confidence that we will make the play-offs this year but we need to admit that we are still some way off competing at the top end of the league. I don't think that will come until 2012 at the earliest.
On tonghts game, it could have been a different story had we not fluffed the drop goal (perhaps a grubber into the goal area would have been more sensible?), even after all the penalties.
One thing I do agree with is that Sibbitt is garbage and shouldn't be anywhere near a Bulls shirt!!!
Don't think i'm biased...
...i'm just very narrow minded!!!!!!!

Catalans winning at Wigan really does put the pressure on us to retain our top 8 position. We MUST beat Salford next week to gain a bit of momentum to carry into the Easter period.

TBH, Wigan seem to be blowing hot and cold this year.
Lot of expectation on them to be some sort of unbeatable side and that sort of pressure can blunt a side to an extent.
Quite annoying that Catalands seem to be picking up momentum coming up to easter, and Leeds is going to be a massive ask. But the team is still a work in progress and the injuries we had going into the game as well as those picked up tonight are going to cause problems for any team.
All in all, I'm concerned with the fact that we aren't producing any consistent form, but I understand the reasons for it. Hopefully we'll get a clean bill of health for the whole team before then end of summer and we can start showing what we can do.
When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

as a hull fan, i wouldn't be too upset with your loss tonight, even if you did benefit from one or two howlers from sharp you have some very good and exciting players, young tom burgess will be a top player this time next season imo, like one of the above posters said, you seemed to tire towards the end
