surprsed by that. RFL are usually suckers for a sob story. Think that actually helps Hull though. When Longs playing they tend to rely on him too much from what I've seen. With him off pitch there forced to be a bit more creative.

Quote:The return of Mark O'Mely is very significant for Hull as he gives them some really good go forward but unfortunately they lose Sean Long after his suspension.
If Hull can get some consistency in their game then they will start to put together back-to-back wins and it could begin here against the Bulls.
Take the home team to win and cover the start.
see millwards back on form and tipping us to lose.

Fair point. They did fall for the sob story then. Although saying that, the RFL tend to bottle the 3-5 match bans anyway. They often get downgraded. I don't know why they even bother putting that particular figure on there, as it never tends to be followed.

TBF Long was cleaned out by a big hit just before the tackle that got him sent off. Dont think for a minute that it affected his judgement in the slighest but can see how RFL could be conned into taking it into account. That said dont think the offence Long was sent off for was bad enough to warrant the 3-5 match ban anyway.
