Quite the understatement Rups

I hate the system with a passion, its was introduced for two reasons...perhaps i'm wrong and can be corrected

but a) it was introduced to give clubs more time to develop players..to cope at international level...don't think i need type anymore.

and b) it was meant to enable clubs to survive on a better financial footing...well we have seen Blackpool disapear, championship clubs going bust (i bet Barrow and Leigh will be in debt) and SL clubs going into administraion.

I've fell out of love with RL which is a shame as its a great sport, but im a firm beleiver in automatic pro/rel, and it was obviuos Widnes would get promotion after 3 long years and either Salford or Wakefield would get the boot...3 years is a long long time for such inevitabilities

I am probably a flatcapper etc but surely sport is all about what you do the pitch?
What's the point if you take away the dreams of the smaller teams thinking 'one day...'
One day i believe the Championship will be the better league to be in, with SL full of plastic teams who are only in there because of their location etc

Halifaxs bid to be reconsidered again in July
Could this mean no relegation for a Super League team and sixteen teams in the SL or merger of Wakefield & Castleford.

Also don't think they'll vote in an increase to 16 teams and the more fixtures and smaller distribution if cash that comes with it

Surely it's going to be Wakefield that's coming down and I can't see Halifax been approved this time. I hate there not been reglagation and promotion it's boring wivout it. wot is happening wiv our leagues do we hav to apply to go in the Championship?

The smaller clubs need to get together financially and challenge this closed shop/cosy arrangement/protectionist system that is Superleague.
In an age of equality and equal opportunities, it's rather like a golf club not admitting women members, or a CIU club not admitting women.
The Superleague are admitting clubs on as flimsy a factor as geography. OK there are many other factors, but the Crusaders were a prime example of this. Akin if you like to discrimination in job interviews.
It should be illegal, simple as that.

It should be on merit alone, if a club is good enough on the park ... never mind what their facilities are like (as long as they pass Health and Safety regs) they should be in. And the only fair way in is via promotion.

Someone treating the RL set-up like their own little toy to arrange in some nice tidy way according to their perceived wishes is wrong . It's manipulation, irrespective of the laudable (in their eyes) goals and is manifestly unfair.

It's like picking football sides back in school, all the fat ones and the ones with glasses and the billy-no-mates and the brainy ones never get picked, even though they might be good.
It's favouritism.
Where is the equality and fairness?

I could go on.......

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Thank God I'm an atheist.
