and LMS on the bench doesn't look too shabby IMO. Rovers have the advantage in the halves, having one of their first choice halves available with Saints having neither, Rovers edge it in the backs arguably. Should be a good close game.

You're assessment ignores form. I look at our squad on paper, even with Dobson, Newton and Vella missing, and it looks good, I'm happy with those players as individuals and the overall balance. Unfortunately they aren't clicking. They're not even clunking. It's a sort of pfft-schlup sound.

He has the number 7 shirt but has fallen out with the club. I'd still say under normal circumstances and given his alleged price tag, he'd be first pick. Either way Saints are going with the youth option in the halves and they looked handy enough last time I saw them.
