Eh? Just pointing out to my very good friend Easty that whilst Dobson is de-registered he's entirely unable to train with Rovers without breaking RFL regulations. Morgan's saying he'll be running shortly therefore one would imagine this will require some supervision which would count as training. Ergo, the passport, as already stated, can only be a few days away. Honestly, why turn something positive into a negative. Cheer up, you play FC in 3 weeks. Good times.

No it wouldn't, it would be classed as rehabilitation, set out by his surgeon/doctor. Training by definition would imply Dobson would be working on certain skills related to rugby - simply running wouldn't be classed in this bracket.

Difficult to play rugby if you can't run, mind. Wilkin tried it against Andy Coley last season.
"A Club shall not allow a Player to take part in any Club training or conditioning programme or to play for it in a Match, unless that Player is on its Club Register or unless the Club and Player are party to a Dual Registration arrangement. Any Club who plays or trains an unregistered Player shall be guilty of misconduct" So he can't do conditioning work with Club personnel, then. Unless the passport's here already as Gordon Gekko hints may already be the case and it's a case of when best to release the good news.

I think we're all aware of this rule now - yet the full extent to what is and what isn't, is somewhat murky.
However I would read into the "conditioning programme" as a programme set to play solely to play rugby. You can argue you can't play without running but it'll be part of Dobson's rehab set by the surgeon/physio none the less.
If Rovers need to tip toe around the ruling I'm sure they will do - but I'd fancy we have actually been in contact with the RFL as to just what Dobson can or can't do (should we need to when the time comes)

A strange interpretation IMO, if somewhat convenient. The RFL guidelines indicate there are two types of programme that are not allowed. To me, the "training" one will be ball skills, teamwork, gameplanning etc, ie skills-based and tactical. The second is conditioning which to me implies general fitness, stamina and strength. We've established that neither are allowed, so not sure what "tip-toeing round the rules" that you suggest is appropriate - perhaps you could give an example. I might just ask Emma - she's in charge. Thanks for the prompt though - it is an interesting one.

Dobbo will be getting rehab with the club, dobbo will train with the club regardless off wether he's re registered or not. Dont see why your getting all excited you know the rfl have already cleared it for us anyway, more wishful thinking i do believe

Dobbo is one of the best players in superleague when fit, he is very clever with the ball imo barring getting fitness levels up he knows exactly what to do to condition his body and what he should and shouldn't be doing rehab wise, rehab is exercises to strengthen and am sure once he has been told what those exercises consist of which by the way could come from a number of physics not just the clubs physio Dobbo will be right when he is fully fit. Dobbo I feel will just slot back in he has been next to Morgan at every game he knows the score, and monaghan trained with wire before he signed another loophole u reckon Mrs B.

I've already said it's no drama and he'll slot back in. About 2 posts ago This is about the lovely RFL rules and how Dobbo can do no conditioning work with Rovers until Mason's passport arrives. Which is expected "by the end of the month."

How do you know it's not already here and morgs ain't playing mind games with agar, let's face it it wouldn't take much to mess up Agars game plan WITHOUT Dobbo playing in the derby
