My on line petition was rubbish, only got fifteen signatures, think I'll bin it off.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

It gets funnier over on The Dark Side, they've started a mass email campaign now and apoplectic that they're not getting individual personal replies from Rule and co.
They'll go absolutely chicken oriental when Berrigan's Bitch delivers Mason's passport and Dobson is re registered.
Fun times.

It is now impossible to troll over there - they're more negative than I've ever been even when doing my 'alternative voice' bit. Think they'll beat Quins tbh, but if not I can see Agar getting the bullet - it'd be getting to the point of it being a mercy.
On the other hand it is quiet here. Nice change or a bit eery - what do we think?
Listing Murrell at stand-off means I wouldn't have to listen to people complain that he's not a 7, when we clearly play left and right split halfbacks. Tell people he's at 6 and they'll be happier. That's quite provocative for me, innit? Cockayne at 9 is in the hope that he'll start a game more disciplined rather than come dashing on later and do something whole-hearted but dozy. Fisher or Hodgson would do more minutes there, but Cockayne offers better cover for injuries than picking them both - and I think we need 3 big forwards on the bench. Hopefully Clinton will be back to something like his old self - that goes for a few actually.

Clinton prefers the drier firmer grounds so they say. There has been no rain for over a week ground is nice and dry and firm so he should start to produce the goods. Will be interesting to see how he goes this week if picked in the 17.l

I never really post over there, too lazy, I have a read now and again, mainly for chuckles. "TrevLovesJanice" is my favourite.
It's eerie around here at present, fo sho.
I'm with you on the Murrell front, Morgan has now stated that Bell won't play, so there's not really any other option, the half backs aren't the problem at the moment, it's a lack of go forward and sloppy defence that's costing us.
Cockayne at hooker is a terrible idea, he knocks on at the ptb enough as it is without giving him 75% more opportunities for him to do so. I do see the logic in playing him from the start but his energy when inserted into the game more than makes up for the idiotic things he does, which imo he would probably do anyway. He also cannot pass at all to his left, which would be a slight problem at nine. Other than that, yes, I entirely agree.

I change my mind every 5 minutes with regards the team i would pick on saturday. My latest offering is:-
Briscoe Fox Webster Welham Latus Hall Green Clinton Fisher Watts Mason Galea Murrell
Hodgson Taylor Wheeldon Lovegrove.
Webster back in the centre where he is clearly more comfortable. Hall at 6 so we can get the ball into his hands more but he wouldnt have a ball playing role given that we still have Galea and Murrell in the side. 2 big props to start who like firm grounds to match Huddersfield early. Mason to be spelled with Taylor.
See you in 5..

It is worth bearing in mind that I'm currently 85th of 90 in the Hull and Rovers Fanatsy League, btw!

I was too lazy to even enter, looks like a lot of faffing about.
I can prove how little I know by posting on here without having a team in last place.
