A controversial player it has to be said, with the betting scandal in 2004 and now the recent allegations about his 'lifestyle', that said, on the pitch he is still a feared centre who is a proven scorer and provides many assists. I would not mind him in my team, clearly his off-field scandals go before him but you can't really argue with what he brings on the pitch. Anyhow, I would take him over Webster anyday.

On a deal with disciplinary caveats (could I word that worse?) around behaviour then yes, I'd take him. Gleeson has been a quality player for years and seems to have got right back to his best (recent weeks aside) in the last eighteen months.
