No Cunningham, no talisman, no short range tries, no repeat sets, no penalties on the back of those repeat sets, no lions share of possession, no average players made to look like world beaters by playing against players who've spent all their time defending.
Saints will struggle to finish in the top-six IMO and I've got a feeling their gates could well slip to below 5k of home support by the end of the season.
You seem to have a big issue with Saints, and I'm not really sure why. You said something similar last year and they made the Grand Final.
Personally I think Saints have a pretty good template for squad composition. They have quota players like Puletua and Perry, excellent British players like Shenton, Pryce, LMS and Roby, and a pipeline of homegrown talent on show tonight like Lomax, Foster, Gaskell etc, 10 homegrown out of 17. They strive to entertain, play with great intensity and look like a play-off side to me.
