Not at all. Thoroughly justified from a
passionate fan's viewpoint. From a business perspective, though they selfishly did what was right for themselves. As I said - it's sadly, but truly, the way of RL and the way of the world. Money does, and always will, talk.
The difference here, though, is that it was the
way Schofield and Crooke did their deeds that was so galling. In this case,
Rovers have compromised Dobson by de-registering him for their own gain. After pledging his allegiance over the last few days it would be a bit hypocritical of him to go for the money, but at the same time the situation was not of Dobson's engineering.
Do you think there would be a backlash of hatred against Dobson if he went? I think there may be a bit of appalled horror and indignation aimed at him, but the angry fingers of your fans would swing towards your board as certainly as a compass needle points to the North Pole. Can't say they haven't "told you so", Hudge.
It probably won't happen - he's injured, after all. I'm merely pointing out that if someone who did have the wherewithal came knocking, why would Dobson say no? You're putting a lot of trust in the loyalty factor, as we did, to our cost with the 2 Judases. (Or is it Judi?)
