Thats usually one or two numpties, this is quite a flood of them, some of whom I thought better of. There was one thread on the saints board the other day that was 90% FC fans talking to themselves..
I'm with pmh, I was really against the whole 'working the rules to the absolute limit' thing we've done. Now I'm quite pleased we have, sod em all...

Don't beat yourself up about, most people are in the end.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
Well I think it's a good idea, saints won't have a clue about Dobson. It's not like their involved in Rugby League.
In fact I'm going to email them directly right now or at least send 'Royce Simmonds' a message on twitter.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

He'll be leathered by now, or battering Kyle again.

It did make me chuckle although I'm disappointed it's taken so long for a reaction. Picture, if you will, a Saints messageboard full of ire over Eastmond's one fingered salute and all round rubbishness. Add an outing of Rovers inability to work the quota without deregistering their star playmaker and the follow up revelation that Morgan's BFF knew nothing about the termination of his client's deal. Then remember the lovely applause Saints gave our fans when we beat them in the CC semi final in 2005. I do like to act as a public information service and this is another very good example.
It should also be remembered that my very good friend Eamonn McManus uses the Saints messageboard as his #1 source of data for potential signings and their agents, so it all would have been perfect if only Dobson were a free agent. Anyway, fortunately for you there's a new 4 year deal to be announced when the Tongan passport arrives.

to be fair what I find funny is as follows. Why would Saints want a player who is not good enough for Hull FC so your fans should stop touting him. Also as HKR are the only team in SL who sign Aussies instead of the cream of British talent surely Saints would not be interested anyway!!!

I give up TBH. There's only so much effort you can put in to countering rank stupidity before you have to call it a day. There's always one more waiting on the sidelines.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One
Mrs B even posted to let them know the name of Dobson's agent (just in case officials at Saints didn't know! )
Seriously, why is it they dare to say we are obsessed with their club?
To be fair, Sir, it was only a couple of Hull fans having a friendly word in Saints ear. We like St Helens, they're our favourite red and white team, you see. As for pleading, well, a few Sts fans have seen fit to do so. So much so, in fact, that your good self felt the need to jump in and diffuse the situation...
You gallant thing, you. Thing is, will Dobson actually be grateful...?
