For those who could not make the after match presentations yesterday, the player of the month for February, as sponsored by the Supporters Trust and selected by you, was announced as Mick Butterfield after a brilliant opening month of the season.

The closest runners up were Adam Scott, Jack Ely and Kyle Kesik

Great lad butters. Played with him for years at Normanton knights. Had he applied himself in training at an earlier age he'd have been playing super league for years. Jamie peacock once described him as the most naturally gifted full back he'd seen playing the game at any level!

He is class ... unfortunately we have a history of bringing on full backs and losing them sharpish.

Reminds me a bit of Chris Ashton, especially in the way he runs at the defence.
