Speaking of rent agreements, the other week when Assem Allam was looking to buy the KC stadium, he told 'Smack my bitch up Burnsey' that he could happily stay with the current rent agreement which was in his words "only a few thousand a year". When City and Hull moved in, I can remember the term peppercorn rent being thrown around and that both clubs would pay a small amount per season for the first few years, well it's almost ten years now, so the question is when is the council going to charge the going rate for playing in such a facility rather than "just a few thousand a year?"

My guess is that there is a Rent review whenever Rovers develop on the land. A new agreement will be in place to cover the East and North developments but a stumbling block has been reached with the development earmarked for the South/East corner that will stretch out to the training ground.
Mr Allam has offered Rovers use of some facilities at the KC that would have been incorporated into the development. All just a guess mind.
