Four quid to park the car! Good to see the SMC helping out in hard times.

Can you park in outlet without getting a ticket?

Yes ... but I always feel that a car left there after trading hours is a bit exposed.
But since trading ceases at 4pm on a Sunday and then staff have got to lock up etc ... it is OK.

Yes i was a bit shocked when he said four quid, and the car park was empty for that reason, why on earth dont they charge two pund and have it full every week the pilloks.

If we all park in the outlet we won't be exposed.
Four pounds to park at a second division RL match is just profiteering. I know this is not the clubs fault, but have the people running the stadium any clue at all?
I only have so much money to spend on a match day so i just won't buy a drink in the ground, so they have lost more than they have made. Has the club been consulted about this and do they have any input?

Usually park at the Beefeater pub and go in for a pint myself. And after buying a pint and a J2O in the bar in the ground on Sunday and offering a fiver only to be told it wasn't enough I'll return to doing that full time.
£3.20 for cider and £2.10 for a bottle of juice is a complete rip.

I've stopped moaning about the Keepquiet Stadium prices ... nothing changes.
They get none of my money at rugby games and haven't for a long time ... I want my money to go to the Dons ... which it does via the gate, programmes, half-time draws and merchandise.
I am not happy with this however, since idiots run the stadium and their inability to get their prices right to optimise sales threatens the very future of the stadium.
The local taxpayer will no doubt pick up the tab for their incompetence.

The simple fact of the matter is if they got decent ale in at decent prices I would buy some, but I buy NONE. Other pubs get my money instead. I don't spend less ... I would sooner have three pints for the price of two and have the choice of a quality brew, not slape. Is that rocket science?
End of rant.

Spot on. Exactly the same reason that if I go to a home game I rarely get there before 5 to 3. I can afford a taxi from town to the ground on what is saved drinking decent beer in town pubs.

The buggers all need busing up to Hunslet to see how it should be done.
Free parking and good ale at fair prices.

And it precisely this drinks thing that has killed the after the game thing that was such a bonding session.
I have no reason to stop and I miss the chance of meeting the players over a decent pint.
They're a bunch of strangers now.
None of which is the Dons' fault.

The four pounds for car parking is a pound to far IMO and no need for it. The refreshment experience at the Keepmoat is not one I enjoy or am willing to contribute too. It is noticiable the sheer volume of trade the The Toad Brewery benefits from on Rovers matchdays and I understand it has hit the Keepmoat takings hard. On Dons matchdays we prefer to sample the delights of The Salutation pre game. Really well kept Real Ale, and a beef or pork and stuffing breadcake. Top value.
