ComeOnYouUll wrote:Your attendance against Crusaders last season was low (the first home game after the 0-54 Saints game, I believe). In 2009 you got 8,046 against them. In that context an extra 1,000 bums on seats on Sunday wouldn't be particularly impressive with the debut of your biggest ever signing.

I take you point regarding the following home game though.

How sad it must be to know the past attendances at other teams games  Get a life

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

But their obsessions with our attendance's are sad.
It wouldn't bother me if we played in front of 1000 or 10,000. I go to games to watch the match, not to look at the crowd.

On that I agree.
But I will say that looking long term we need to be self sufficient.

Keep your hair on.

It's hardly an obsession, I was just making an observation on the relative popularity in East Hull of Olly Murs and Willie Mason.

While I can see an extra 1000 rugby "virgins" pulling on their stretched leggings in East Hull to watch Olly after a Saturday night in front of the X-Factor with crisps and chocolate, I'm not so sure Willie will have the same pull for those popular culture vultures.

In the world you live in, January to March = 4 months?

Perhaps basic maths isn't your strongest suit.

Well, seeing as we all know what the coffee ladies thoughts are about our marquee signing, i thought i'd pop over and see what she had to say about their own marquee signing. I found 3 threads dedicated to the new fullback.
"Phelps in for turner" 6 pages, no comments from the coffee lady...
"Fullback" 1 page, no comments from the coffee lady....
Now this is where it get interesting....
"Cameron Phelps"....20 pages, although it only took 11 posts before Willie Mason was mentioned..and as of page 16 turned into a fully fledged rovers forum. That aside the coffee lady has indeed posted comments on their marquee signing thread... here they "all" are with some comments she responded to......

Mrs Barista wrote:If his "visa issues" or "red tape" or whatever they're calling it this week takes the same time as Mason's to sort out, we'll still be waiting with no arrival date in August.

Mrs Barista wrote:No. Friday is the 6 month anniversary of Mason's signing being announced with no sign yet though, so he's not due any time soon.

blakeysrobin wrote:Thats reminded me to get a 6 month anniversary get here soon card.

Mrs Barista wrote:I'm like a public information service. You're welcome.

Mrs Barista wrote:You said much worse about O'Meley when he signed for us. Thoughts on the rumour he's going to Rovers next year?

Yeah indeed, infact it couldn't be the fact that he's been so poor in the first three games that he's been dropped could it

Mrs Barista wrote:Really? Was he that poor, that with Vella injured, he's now 6th choice prop at Rovers? Honestly Phillip, how gullible are you? Anyway, I hope you're keeping up on here via your mobile. It's the big £5 to watch training session this morning. Let's hope there's more interest than there was in the Willie Mason meal last night that had to be cancelled.

MrPhilb wrote:Yes he has been that poor, i mean you've been blasting the stats all over the place left right and centre.

Mrs Barista wrote:They're not that different to last season's though, are they? Let's face it, Ewan Dowes broke more tackles than your superstar last year, so it's not new information.

 damn, still not sure what she thinks of their marquee signing.... :D
