I must have imagined an almost weekly update of his visa-athon even though he was technically no longer in the NRL. You mention the press scrum over here but yet you see fit to discount it because it doesn't fit your arguement...Convenient that isn't it. Also did you know that tons and I mean TONS of local rags from all over the country were interested enough to put the press association release on their websites? He isn't high profile though apparently.
Plenty of others were linked to the press scandal.
The visa stories were nothing stories, seriously you are grasping at straws here.
He is a high profile player, but not the biggest in the world.

Not that unusual for PA stories.
He is a high profile RL personality (mainly based on a punch a few years ago) but to suggest he is the highest profile player in the world is ridiculous.
Profile relates to on the field and off. No Hull fan is going to agree and not many Rovers fans will disagree. We are going round in circles on this one now.

To be fair though if you did have to put the "sold out" sign up that would be good positive publicity, it should have been done, you could have even done a "Mason 23" promotion, Willies first 2 games £23 or £23 a family of 4.....
It WOULD have been good for you to fill the ground, even i'll admit that

Whilst I would agree to mason being a very news worthy, column inches, high profile, tall, 31 year old, Aussie?, New Zealander?, tongan?, rugby league player !
I beg the question "how long does it take to recieve a Tongan passport" being that its over four months since he had a few beers with the Tongan prime minister to aid it being "fast tracked" ?
