If Willie Mullins is happy with HF and the horse is in good nick then (he has a serious engine when asked to 'go') Binocular will have something to think about. It would be great to see McCoy and Walsh fighting it down going for home. Menorah could definitely be the fly in the ointment though. Having said all of this, a lot of trainers (when asked) have said they see Peddlers Cross as the biggest danger.

Henderson's only bothered about one and thats Hurricane Fly 8) 8)

Money has come for Champion Court as expected, in to 8/1 with most firms, 9/1 in a place but sure that will dry up soon. Still expect it to go off around the 6/1 mark on the day but Im happy with the 12's and 11's. Still rates my banker each way bet of the festival.

Have spoken to an old friend of mine recently, an ex apprentice who I used to know many years ago when he worked for a few yards in Malton. Anyway he has moved on now and works in Japan for a big owner over there. They are very sweet on Buena Vista for the Dubai World Cup. Currently 16/1 with Bet365. Well worth an each way bet come next Friday evening with the Cheltenham winnings after Warren Marston comes to the last hurdle with a double handfull on Champion Court !

:thumb: If the goods are delivered next week, I'll get on Buena Vista too. Noticed today CC has been clipped into 8/1 with Paddy Power, got 10's myself. Will probably get on again during the week, might even take 8's on offer if something delivers tomorrow.

Binocular won last years renewal in stonking fashion but the form doesn't add up to a lot. Go Native went off favourite and don't think he's been seen since. Zaynar was prominant in the betting and has done nothing since. Khyber Kim went on to run at Aintree. This years opposition is obviously a lot stronger (on paper).

The form doesn't need to add up he killed them, Brennan even said so in the preview and he was on the horse that got near it, you could even make a case that Binocular should be going for a 3rd Champion Hurdle in a row, if it wasn't for me being a huge Hurricane Fly fan I would of been all over Binocular after its first run when it went out to 9/2 but I waited because I really do think Hurricane Fly is the one with the speed to burn him up the hill.

A few of the market leaders have pulled out of the Albert Bartlett race now, leaving Champion Court in a nice position as second favourite. If Nicky Henderson can please send Bobs Worth to the Neptune Novices Hurdle instead then it would be greatly appreciated.
