It's too good for them, silly footwear, especially when sported by blokes.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

the only way i see us getting sell out crowds , is too lower the price a little......
since getting into sl i have seen the season pass price go up and up. this may well be for the clubs coffers, but it makes it less and less affordable for the unfortunate.

we live in a town that is quite bad for unemployment etc and no immediate signs of that changing, so i find increasing the pass prices year on year as being counter productive in that respect.
dropping the pass price back to £179 or £189 will make it slightly more affordable and more in reach for the less fortunate.
10,000 x £179 = £1,790,000
10,000 x £189 = £1,890,000

at current figures
east stand price ..... 8000 x £233 = £1,864,000
and if they say the break even is 10,000
thats £2,330,000

i dont think that will happen at the current prices.
As much as i love my club, there is only so far as i am willing to pay for the passes.
then on top of this some people still pay for the club rovers membership.
whilst this may provide some perks, the club have to look at the times we are in and charge accordingly or crowds will go down and not upwards.

i don`t want to criticise too much , but they do need to look for more and better options in regards cost and pricing and payment methods.

for myself the ideal solution for passes would be to start paying for next seasons passes now and spread that over 10 monthly payments to make it less of a financial burden. A simple solution to the rising costs of the game is to open more options for paying it.
this might even get some of the unemployed through the gates on passes as they become easier to pay for.

Why don't you open an internet bank account and set up a direct debit for £23.30 a month and spread the payments that way? You'd also get (admittedly at a rubbish rate) a little bit of interest.

Don't want to spoil your maths but a hefty chunk of the attendances are Junior/Concessions.

I think most Australian clubs supporters would be aghast if their club signed Mason, there would be uproar that they had signed an over payed has been with a bad attitude

I am happy to say I was proven wrong and wish he was still with us in 2011......He is really motivated and excitable and will give the team enthusiasm.

I reckon you have a great signing, and in a few weeks he will be playing good football for Hull.

When he came to Townsville he was booed on to the field for his first game. By the end of the season he was a crowd favourite and everyone loved Big Willie.

Think again! :ROCKS:

There is a little bit missing, how the Dobbo pay off will be funded, if you terminate a contract youd expect to have to pay compo, unless Dobbo has a new club already and is happy be a free agent
