Just finished my second season with Hull City, finished 5th in my first season and lost in the first round of the play offs.

Second season went much better after selling most of my best players, but keeping Jay Simpson and Simon Cox up front. I finished 3rd and went up through the play-offs, beating Sheffield United 7-1 on aggregate and then West Brom 4-2 in the final without Simpson, who scored 30 goals in the league.

I also lost in the final of the league cup to Arsenal on penalties, so I'm quite optimistic ahead of my 3rd season.

I've had FM11 for a while now but forgot to post (thanks for the advice Saddened!).

I'm in March 2014 currently with Liverpool. Got a great team of

GK- Reina

RB- Johnson
CB- Skrtel
CB- Agger
LB- Wilson

CM- Lucas
CM- Jack Wilshere (£5 million)
CM- Gerrard

CF- Torres
CF- Luis Suarez (£17 million)
CF- Yaya Sanogo (£12 million)

Usually play 4-3-3, obviously my starting 11 isn't substantially different from the real Liverpool team with only three purchases but I have also bought a fair few others such as:

Eden Hazard (£15 million)
James Rodriguez (£20 million)
Thorgan Hazard (£5 million)
Terrence Makengo (Free)
Rafeal Van Der Vaart (£2 million)
Theo Walcott (£6 million)

Got a very good team but i'm getting pretty board of this save.

Anybody got any suggestions about good teams from lower down to start with.?I used to use Pompey, but i imagine they are in financial trouble, and Tenerife.

I've been known to have a punt with the likes of Oviedo or Rayo Vallecano in Spain, or Laval in France.

I have been playing as Chesterfield on FM11.....Only just starting my second season, but had a cracking opening season, winning League 2 by 20 points (106 points!!).....Have got a number of (supposedly) decent free transfers for the new season, Martin Kelly from Liverpool and Daniel DeRidder, ex-Wigan, being the most well-known, and have started the season quite well (5th after 5 matches).

Hoping I can keep them on the up, as they have lots of potential, with a loyal chairman and brand new ground!!

Mid-way through my second season at Portsmouth and I'm starting to show my potential in 2nd place. Went 13 games unbeaten from about Sept-Dec which helped. Signed Henri Camara on a free and he's been banging them in.

I was about to post about him. He's a great player and has scored 18 goals from 19 matches for me. I found him because Bayern Munich had him rotting in the reserve team, but had sent him out on loan to Palmero the previous season. He bagged 21 goals for them, but Bayern just put him straight back into the reserve team. He only cost 3million and is on something like 25k a week. A bargain compared to the 30million i paid for Pato. He's only got 25 goals from 17 matches with 10 assists

I do rotate a lot especially the midfield, but this is my big game team:

Guillermo Ochoa

Fabio (cost 5million from Sevilla another bargain)
Phil Jones
Dalton (Cost 4.5m from his brazillian club, but he's young and a great player)
Ben Walker (regen)

Tom Cleverley
Matt James
Graham Dorrans
Freddy Adu

Vaclav Kadlec
Pato

Back up:

Alphonse Aréola
Kieran Gibbs
Marco Motta
Havard Nordtveit
Gael Kakuta
Steven Defour
Fabian Delph
Iker Munian
The rest are good regens oh apart from Andy Carrol. I bought him for 6.5mil in my 1st prem season. Hasn't scored goals or played well now transfer listed and out on loan. Hopefully i can offload him in the summer as no one wanted him in the winter.

Having a crack in the second tier of Chinese football at the minute with Guangzhou.

Overseas player rules are a giggle. You can have as many as you like at your club, but only five in your matchday squad of which only four can be on the field at any one time.

Started the season alright, joint top after 10 games despite missing a few key players with minor injuries.

Downloaded a database where all players are free agents at the start of the game, and some of the teams getting put together are brilliant.

Thought I had a good team, but Sevilla have pretty much signed every star of the Spanish team - Villa and Torres up front.

Gonna do five seasons on my other game with Porto (normal database) and then probably have a look at a second division/lower top division foreign team.

Well I went 2nd with 2 games to go and managed to blow it and finish 3rd before going out the playoffs on penalties. :FRUSRATED:

Going to start a new game at Wigan I think.
