I agree. We have been clueless this season apart from our only win. We are missing a quality half back and we need one bad if we are going to be play off contenders this season. I say SACK AGAR!!! Oh wait, it's the KR messageboard! I could have been easily mistaken for some of the topics on here. Now you know what it's like for us week in week out!!!! Well apart from crusaders but to be honest they are dire!

We seem to make either idiotic or no decisions when we are under pressure. If we don't learn to adapt to playing without him it will be a long 2 months!
I've said this for a while. We're one of the thickest teams in the league. This isn't a problem when we stick to Morgan's game plan, but as soon as we deviate from this then things almost always go wrong.
We play a low risk brand of rugby league that needs a completion rate of at least 65% to be successful. You don't have a decent completion rate when you drop the ball and just aimlessly throw it all over the park, hence we're losing games at the moment.
We're also badly missing some grunt up front at present. The majority of our tries (or should that be the grammatically incorrect try's, I'm never sure?) come off our excellent short kicking game. We have two players in our outside backs capable of scoring from deep in Fox (strangely terrible at the moment) and Hall (has only played twice) so unless our forwards rediscover the oppositions twenty metre area we're going to struggle to put points on the board.
Clinton's a quality player whose out of form at the moment, Lovegrove is hopefully back and Vella is now out injured. Two positives and a negative. A pack of Clinton, Fisher, Lovegrove, Newton, Galea and Murrell with Mason, Wheeldon and Hodgson from the bench should be more than capable of matching most teams in this league.
We'll come good, but the fans need to realise we're a fifth to seventh team at best with an outside chance in the CC given a good draw.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Agree completely.
Edit - Watts deserves the 4th spot on that bench though.

I knew I was forgetting someone.

Given that you guys are (currently) so sceptical of Mason's impact it seems odd that you all spent so much time and effort trying to convince us he wasn't coming at all.
It's almost as if you're following a flow chart.
Where do you go next if Mason makes a big impression? Finances? Ground Capacity?

I think the turning point of yesterday's game came, when just after we'd forced two goal line drop outs, Hall knocked the ball back wards and Fox instead of just diving on the ball, to knocked it back even further, in to no man's land, Cas picked up and went the length of the field to score. We never seemed to revover from that point onwards.

Don't worry, we'll soon have the annual "I'm not coming to your pit of a ground when Hudgell's ripping me off" thread.

Can I just point out that some of us are sceptical about his impact (not the same as writing him off BTW) but have been saying that he'd arrive all along?
Ta.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One
