Is Dobson the only player with any sort of rugby league intelligence?
We seem to make either idiotic or no decisions when we are under pressure. If we don't learn to adapt to playing without him it will be a long 2 months!

briscoe- ineffective colbon- tryer, nothing else hall- solid, will be a gem welham- rubbish fox-lacking confidence green- not bad today murrell-played out of position, hard to judge vella- garbage hodgeson- has a go watts- solid today galea- cr4p today newton- good runs netherton- loose man??????????? seems to get outclassed every week cockayne- too enthusiastic(ie drops a lot of ball trying to get up too quick) (head highs) wheeldon- best forward today strong running and a few big hits taylor- had a real go, some nice running

Let's put it in perspective though. Dobson has been our playmaker, arguably the best in SL and most importantly ever present for two seasons. You can't lose a player like that and expect the team to instantly adapt. Also, a lot of the mistakes we're making we would still be making with Dobson on the pitch and right now it's those errors that are killing us. It will improve but there may be more pain to come before it does.

anyone else think were struggling fitness wise?
lack of concentration can be a result of tiredness and our concentration is shocking right now, it might explain why our forwards are struggling for yards too

Completely agree. Its just going to take time for the side to adapt to not having Dobson out there. How long did it take Hull to properly replace Paul Cooke?
I do think Netherton is not the right man to play 13 for us though, I think we would get more value out of playing Murrel there and playing with Green at scrum half and Galea at stand off.
Plus, lets not forget its still very early into the season and we're better off having our blip now then later on in the season

to me Netherton is the weirdest of the lot, yes he tackles, but not enough, not enough to warrant him been in the team, he doesnt do anything in attack so should be putting about 50 tackles a game in, but i bet hes no where near that.

Is that not down to the conditioner, not been funny but he looks fitter than our players when out warming up on the pitch, think its just a slow start to the season but ur right maybe they need to look at theyre fitness levels, isnt this what they are doing at this sports university thing.

I dont think he is fit or up to it and losing vella doesnt help either.
