If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Why do you think he want's you to merge again, the same reason as last the time, the only way you'll do any good is to merge with a better team...again.. http://rugby-league-world.com/1999/Resu ... sults.html ,he knows your going nowhere as you are.
PS, why don't you send him your glory year in Superleague dvd, you know the one, where you get slaughtered by Saints.

He is clearly a little bit frenzied at the moment! However, if you had just landed in east park in a flying saucer, and saw 2 teams in the city as we stand at present, I think the logical thing to do would be to merge and have a super team. (I know it won't cannot and should not happen!) I said ages ago though, imagine if there had only ever been one team, I would suspect 20k attendance average and Hull to be (as a city) at the very top of the game for years on end.

Whilst I agree to a point having just one team would mean a massive support base, this doesn`t always mean major success.Ask Newcastle supporters. Not asking for sarky comments here, but if we picked what we considered the best choices from both present Hull teams,do you think we would win the league? Just a thought.

No, man for man the squads are too close together ability wise, whilst the squad would be stronger I don't think the first 17 would improve all that much.
