The club badge was on the left on the players jersey, however the supporters jersey was as the retro. The single stripe down the sleeves is to avoid any conflict with Adidas. We sent an original supporters jersey to get copied. Material is as the supporters jersey ie a soft cotton as opposed to the players heavy cotton material. It looks really smart, even if I say so myself.
Thanks, I never really noticed the difference between the players and fans shirts at the time, I was still waearing my Rank Xerox jersey!.

Nah if anything I think these will be closer to the original. Thought the HWP one was brilliant and it was ideal for summer rugby (i.e. been a poly-cotton mix) but these I think are 100% cotton, so whilst they might be a bit warm for summer, they'll be great until at least may, + IMO look a great pub shirt from those pics.

These are the same softer cotton as the original supporters jersey. The players jersey was of the heavier cotton which was very similar to the Hanson White Print one.

But not the Hanson White Print one we did.

Whilst we're on this topic, if anyone still has an original Savoy Tyres shirt kicking around in the attic then PM me and I'll happily pay a very good price for it. Gap in my collection - the "large boys" one I had myself back then doesn't quite fit anymore
Re: the badges, my original replica didn't have a Rovers badge on at all - adidas logo on one side, the daft frog on the other. Think the players shirts never had the frog though.
When Hull KR got promoted they said there was only room for one elite team in Hull... how right they were!

Re the badges, your are correct. The original we sent to be copied never had it on. However, we have decided to put the badge on the retro as some of the younger supporters will not be able to relate the frog to Rovers, and as the players shirts had them on, we thought we would follow suit.

Like I said yesterday IMO it's the right decision having both on, blending the replica and player ones into one modern version.
