Very informative Meet the CEO this week. Well worth a look.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

East stand work started. North stand - hope to start work in the summer. South stand ( ) plans in the pipeline - very early stages though. Vague and intriguing talk about bringing a new and unique facility as part of the South stand development. I reckon they've seen the Bratwurst museum and are planning something similar for the patty. Either that or the World's biggest helter-skelter and a massive ferris wheel - the East Hull Eye.
New 'in-house' website on its way, with better control over content/updates. Fans' steering committee. Commercial partners, fabulous fans, brilliant directors, club-heading in the right direction, defying the downturn. Club Rovers - speculating a bit, but it sounds as though they might be going down the route of making it a brand from which you can pick and choose products - text updates, Rovers TV etc.

Yes, I noticed that Mike Smith seemed to have found his shovel again and put a little fence up at the South end of the East.
Ah, The Bratwurst Museum, one of the highlights of 2010, and here he is...
Thüringer Bratwurstkönig, The Sausage King! I always liked those white sausages, bockwurst I think, stay away from currywurst in Berlin though, terrible, nearly caused me to develop a hiatus hernia.
And look, they've invented a Sausage Tank...
I really must go, I love a good sausage.
Club Rovers is a strange one (can I smell coffee? I think I triggered something) I can now accept that it was a sixty queens donation when we had a cash flow issue with some fringe benefits. Rovers TV is rubbish apart from the highlights, however (and this might be just my connection speed) you have to leave it download for about half an hour before it will view, it's like dial up used to be, and this case, Old Skool is bad school.

Rovers TV is one of the best on the scene at the moment. Regular updates from our BOD, team announcments, highlights from games, interviews with players and the coach, Team Mates, What I Love about Rugby League...etc Yes it is your connection speed because I go on the site and press play and it's streaming like turning on the TV.
What more do you want from the service? They have told you that the fans issues are being taken seriously no matter what they may be. They'll never please everybody all of the time but at least they know what the problems are now and are in a position to make things better.
If you have an idea for HKR TV why not ask them for it? Short of putting Babe Station on there I'm not sure what more they could do!

I don't really want them to do anything different, I'm not that interested in the players as people to be honest, the highlights are good, I'm happy with that.

Okay, moan duly withdrawn!

Hull KR TV is brilliant I can't understand why a Rovers fan would be critical.
I find the CEO slot very informative and interesting. It has been great to listen to the various board members who all come across as very competent individuals with tremendous enthusiasm.
This kind of thing takes time effort & commitment and is often overlooked amidst day to day operational matters. So we should thank Mike Smith and the board for what is a step change in quality of communication.
Bringing in talented people with business skills from other areas has been a very good thing IMO.
As a fan who cares about the wellbeing of the club I actually find Hull KR TV and especially the CEO slot quite uplifting.

It would appear i perhaps need to pay it more attention! I shall consider myself chastised.
I'll have another look and report back at some point.

That's ok then, if you don't want to know the players as people don't watch it but some people enjoy it as it is a light hearted way to get back to feeling like a family club again as it used to be before the part time Harry's turned up in 2006!
I'd rather the team selection wasn't like it is though, I'd like it to be in order of positions or even squad number. At least most the squad numbers are the correct positions.
