Murrell played as a left-side pivot yesterday - the exact same position he played the back end of last year when the team won a lot of games including Leeds at home and I didn't hear anyone moan about it last year.

The half-back situation had nothing to do with it - our entire front-row (barring Wheeldon) turned in unacceptable performances though their cause was made harder by some basic errors.

The flash downfall of rain mid-afternoon yesterday meant the conditions were not conducive to the way Rovers like to play but it's no excuse.
