finally saw the Craig Cook trick at TO v Skolars - he stopped dead, jinked right, then left then threw a crossfield pass to open up the defence to lead to a decisive score - great display from the new froggie - he's doing well over here, even managing to learn one french word per week - he's now up to "bonjourno amigo, ich m'appel Craig"...........

I'm pleased he is still doing it and you have seen it.
it's a bit like in football when you pretend to really smack the ball and the defender turns his back, so you just scoot by him.
Only, Cooky stops and everyone thinks play has stopped cos the ref has blown and then he scoots on.
Magic really.

His name is not spelled Towel ... unless of course he is ready to throw it all in?
I see him cycling about a lot myself ...
He's never been the same since his greyhound died.
Let me know if you ever catch him smiling ... it's been a long time.

he's playing really well at the moment - he seems to be back at his 'fighting weight' and is linking up well with the half back line - yes,a clever trick which certainly confused the London lot !

He had a very broad smile when Huddersfield wanted to sign him

Batley linked with a possible move for Mark Castle if he impresses against us for Fryston in the CC game on Sunday.
