Walking out of Craven Park today I was disgusted at the foul mouthed abusive the players recieved from two so called fans. Yes we were all upset but I would like to see the two men putting on a shirt and do better, I bet they have never even played the game. Do we really need these sort of fans?

No we don't it's probably the same scum that have been causing the fights at away games
I came down for a beer at halftime from the west stand and couldnt believe the language and hatred from about 6 so called fans (2 were women with young children) stood in the well near the food and drink counter. The men were holding 2 beers each and clearly drunk and were calling Menzies all the names under the sun and imitting monkey noises when the cats 'shall we say' darkest player had the ball. A steward (on his own and about 18) went across eventually to calm them down (they didnt) but they should have been ejected for me.

Spot on Rob, as I mentioned on another thread probably the best Australian to grace New Craven park. As for the fans swearing, I think people pay good money and give up time to support, so are entiteld to shout the odds, but racist and personal insults should never be accepted, and if it was around me I would pull the offenders up about it.

All fans pay they money and yes are entitled to there own opinion i agree, they was a guy stood next to me in the east stand with his wife arrived 5 mins before kick off barged in to a place that wasnt there, they continually abused the rovers players in the end i left in disgust, bet he never even played the game, most fans like these want to pull on a shirt and get smashed a few times they soon keep they mouths shut....

Agree with that, except the players don't do it for free - most will be on a grand a week at least to play their hearts out for their cash. Today they didn't do it.
