We could do with Chris28 here. If he's applied as a Tongan for a UK visa, I think it was said that he had to apply via Fiji? I don't think this can be right though because the visa processing stats for Fiji in January here: http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/processingtimes
show that no visa application took more than 5 days.
Meant visa, not passport, of course. We all know the Tongan president handed the passport to him on the canape tray all those weeks ago.
Interesting, the update on that link. Chris28 posted it a few days ago and applications via Fiji for certain types of visas were taking 30 days max then.
So it looks like they've cleared the backlog! Hurrah!! That means Willie's visa will definitely have a decision by now, and we should see him singing Ollie Murs-style in the middle of Caravan Park on Sunday.
I've had to cancel the Hudds trip now . (Thank God for a good excuse.)

Well indeed. 5 day max processing time for all Jan applications, therefore the visa should have arrived at the latest on 7th January, coincidentally the day Mason himself expected to be in the departure lounge. Yet here we still are, 7 weeks later. Another flaw in the plan?

Another hole in Hudge's pocket? Willie's expecting about £45K plus the signing-on fee he was sweating about in November? Has Cabman not told him it's ok and it's all safe in the boot of his taxi when he picks him up from the airport?

Not sure if you really are a Dull fan but shouldn't you be more worried about Phelps than Mason?
Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

She is. Im guessing she is wondreing if Phelps has ever played SR before as Agar clearly doesn't think he has enough of them to the point he paid £150,000 so he can get another one.

No point in getting worried about Phelps at this stage. Hudgell said there was plenty of due diligence by Rovers on Mason's signing visa-wise and today it's 25 weeks exactly since he signed, or six months on Friday if you prefer. In that context I doubt we'll see Phelps before Round 24, due diligence or not.
Horrendous stats for a player of Clintons stature. What did surprise me is that our only prop to match O'Meleys stats is Mick Vella and i think he has played poorly so far this season. I suppose that is testament to how high i set the bar for Vella standards wise. Worryingly, if O'Meley does make the switch east then it will be Vella who he replaces!
