I think we've had our money's worth out of Richard Horne in the last 10 years.
Lets face it you've also had a few who've taken the money without delivering the goods - Michael Smith, Garret Crossman, David Mills to name three.
I see so you are now saying that is Mason's fault that the UKBA are dragging their heels are you?

Think thats harsh. Smith was very good for Rovers abeit at a lower level of the game. In Crossmans season with Rovers he played every game other than one. Not a world beater by any stretch but clearly did enough to keep his place. In the same season Mills was an ever present. Lets skip past 2009 and 2010 with him.

Be fair though, those 3 are the only 3 who Morgan "got wrong" if you like. I think morgan's recruitment outside these 3 has been top class.

I've got a Barista-sized feast of negative quotes and facts surrounding Hull players past and present on my doorstep, at the moment, if you want to meet me 'round the back of bicker thread.
Right it was probably me that de-railed it, but... Willie Mason, not here, being paid, gonna be BRILLIANT

How do you come to that conclusion?
We were talking about Willie Mason not being here. I mentioned injured players not playing for you as a comparison the the dig about Mason getting payed but not playing and you said this.

I was responding to your post at 5.44pm in which you implied that Long, Horne, Dykes and Calderwood were being paid for doing nothing.
I said it was not their fault they were injured. There is a difference between injured players and underperforming players.
For the record I do not think its Mason's fault that his visa has not come through. In fact I think the UKBA's treatment of RL players' visa applications is a disgrace.
Clear enough for you?

Yes that is fine we agree that Mason is as helpless as injured players are in that they are unable to play even though it isn't their fault although it was you that started being clever with this.

WormInHand said Rovers had been paying Mason since Octoberish. Philb said since December. Thats 3 months rather than 5. Its not Mason's fault; its down to either Rovers or UKBA. Take your pick.
