doubt it. the big attraction of a ground share for city was prospect of the 15 million being used to buy vp back from current owner and hopefully mean lower rents for them. With that prospect now out the window bet they'll go quiet on the idea. After all the current owners of VP can now potentially charge 2 clubs higher rent. they wont drop citys rent if we came on board as tenants - why would they their businessmen - they'll jus tcharge both clubs as much as they think they can get away with.

SL licence application being worked on as we speak, to be submitted by 30 April.
Pathetic excuse for a council (iteration #37) effectively cans the project now.
Council therefore does our Licence application no good at all - although I suppose they could have left it till the day after we submitted had they REALLY sought to shaft the club.

1. Moving out of the city and ground sharing with Fax must be one of them. I know you bradfordians have a problem with that but I wouldn't.
2. All 10,600 of us go around to Ken Morrisons house and beg - I'm not too proud.

Not from me there aren't! We might have had something already built by now if they hadn't constantly changed their minds over what they wanted.
We need to stay in Bradford if at all possible. Could the club come up with some sort of gradual plan to do up Odsal bit by bit (probably over the next 100 years!) that would satisfy the RFL. Then the club could concentrate on all the other things that go toward securing a license such as junior development, performance on the field and getting a decent crowd. As Hood said we got a grade B last time so why not again? The 10k season ticket holders must help the cause.

Would serve this dungheap council (latest iteration) right if one of the neighbouring local authorities stumped up some land and a grant or three just over the boundary. Say down near Chain Bar or at Midpoint. And were amenable to a Tesco store on-site. And we found some friendly developer and managed to get a basic stadium off the ground.
In fact a big new Tescos and a new stadium at Midpoint would be quite ironic, since the Tesco would be within a short walk of Morrisons' head office but Bradmet would have to provide the road access. Up yours Bradmet up yours Morrisons?

But I'm sure Bradmet would be delighted as they'd try to bask in the reflected glory at no expense to them. I imagine the T&A would be cranking up the bandwagon too.
I'd love it to happen but can't see Leeds, Kirklees or Calderdale Councils doing it unless it cost them nothing and could be spun as a vote winner somehow.
