Saturday 14th May 2011, Wilmere Lane, Widnes
Raising funds for - Life for A Kid Foundation (Alex Appeal) and the HFH Masters.
The Un-beaten Great Britain Rugby League All Stars captained by Paul Newlove and featuring such players as Andy Gregory, Hugh Waddell, Mike Wainright, Gary Connolly, Steve Hampson, Anthony Sullivan to name a few will take on the Halton Farnworth Hornets Masters Select to raise money for a 3 Year Old Wigan Boy called Alex Hickey, who's family need £40,000 to take him to the USA for a life changing procedure and therapy.
Alex suffers from a condition called Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy and with help his family can take him to Missouri for specialist treatment.
The Game will be Two handed Touch and Pass and be played over 3 x 20 mins with the main Official being Colin Morris.
We are also holding a Fundraising Dinner the night before the game with guest Speaker Andy Gregory to raise additional funds.
Open to all Masters Players Each player who comes forward to play for the Masters Select side will be asked to raise a minimum of £150 to play in the game, each player will get a full fundraising pack and support to help raise the funds, from experience some players will raise £150 some may go over £300.
The game is open to anyone over the age of 35 years old, therefore anyone interested in playing then please contact me for the details of Chris Kelly, the event organiser, or PM me if you have any questions.

Just a reminder about the Charity Day up at Wilmere Lane, Widnes this coming Saturday 14th
11.00am HFH U9s v Clock Face U9s
11.45am HFH U12s v Burtonwood Bulldogs U12s
12.45pm Halton Ladies v Crosfield Ladies
14.30pm HFH Masters v GB Allstars
The cafe at Wilmere Lane will be open all day for food and drinks, plus Steve Jones (KT8 Photography) will be taking photos of all players and GB Stars to help raise extra funds on the day.
