In all honesty i think the vultures have done us a decent deed.

Millard did not fit in with the ethos of the wakey team for some reason and while he showed flashes they were too far apart. He had a decent track for the try line but nothing special. Rather see Dean at centre.

Obst - Commendable service and 100% every game but is not the creative half back we need. His scoots were good but his kicking game was average and he did not create that much. I wish him well and hes been a good servant to the club but i think it was the right time to move for both parties.

Furguson - 22 years old and TBF the only one i feel is a loss as such. played for years and come up at Wakey and i thought he was older. Will be very good when he hits mid 20s i think.

Those above wont be popular im sure with alot of my fellow fans but our opinions are what distinguish us as individuals.

Moriano played 2nd Row and looked good there. Looks big enough for prop easily but has the speed and athleticism to play out wide it would seem.

Frankie is one of the nicest guys you can meet, known him for years and his love for Hull KR is as strong as anyone of the East standers. He has the talent to make it, his size and speed are useful but his reading of the game is also very good. I think his vital statistics are similar to Falaou and is why he got the nickname 'Frank the Tank' but coaches over here are not keen on trusting a big man out wide at centre but I honestly think he could be devastating out there.

Good luck to him but Trojan Horse please please please as much as this is not a spelling competition get his name right or call him Frankie!!!

Just read an article saying GLOVER willing to spend up to the cap!! That would leave some serious spare capital for players but are the players out there.

I'm assuming Millard was quota? Have you got any other spots? Might be worth waiting until the NRL's a couple of months in and then seeing whose out of favour over there.

I was a bit surprised you didn't go in for Tansey as iirc he signed for Dewsbury after Glover had taken over.

We now have 2 spots from obst and Millard. One may be filled by jarred hickey a prop from nrl at 24 years. The other I either timana tahu or maybe a hb.

Good sounds coming from club at present and glover and his team seem to be improving the business side by already seeing improvements in club store.

That said although promising I will reserve some judgement for mid season.

Problem with not knowing already if you have a franchise for next year or not is these players will want massive contracts like when Rovers first came in to the league. We had to offer big money for average players because it was likely we'd be relegated and had to make it worth their while.

I see the same happening with Wakey, these players will see a money man coming in to save the club willing to spend silly money on players that havent performed for a bit now and want to get a pay day before dropping down the ladder even further.
