Talking to some Bulls fans at Cardiff last week & they said their season passes cost them £60

Last season they had under 4k pass holders. The club said if 10k pledged to buy a pass for this season they’d discount them. That figure was passed & they stuck to their word.

Over 15k at the Grattan today for their 1st home game vs Wigan.

Good luck to them

At the moment our ground’s not big enough to look at going down this route, but after the East / North stands are completed we’ll have a bit of spare capacity.

The Bulls total revenue from season passes might not be much different to last season, but more fans watching = better atmosphere, better food & drink sales on matchdays, bigger fan base to sell merchandise to & increased sponsorship opportunities.

Could this be something we look at in the not too distant future?

I believe that it was such a brilliant idea that i bought a bulls pass just in support of a place ive lived in or worked at for over 26 years.

If we had a ground that held 16,000+ then i would say go for it but its a long way off if at all.

The bulls was desperate after such a poor couple of years and are only giving the true fan a bit back.
Another good idea they are selling is the 5/10 year passes which works out at £100 per season with added extras etc.
Shame Rovers are not in a postition to do something similar but the size of the ground dictates again !!

I think Bulls are looking at this as a big one-off re-invigoration of the fanbase which has dwindled significantly over recent years. Even despite this, their last accounts show a loss of "only" £76k and they have positive net assets of >£1.1m, the point being that they're in a reasonable position to speculate to accumulate.

Rovers pricing structure will be interesting for 2012, particularly around the renewal fee for Club Rovers. Presumably the £1.9m cost (plus interest) of the North Stand repayments will kick in shortly so those need to be covered; consequently not sure that there'll be an offer comparable with Bradford's, but would certainly be a question worth asking on this week's Rovers tv interview.

They won't kick in till we receive any money and hasn't it already being said that the repayment is 54k per annum?

Once the ground developments are in place we’ll be looking at a capacity of 14 – 15k? For the 1st time in SL our ground capacity will be bigger than our fan base. Our long term future depends on increasing that fan base.

It’s a calculated gamble, obviously one that the Bulls think will pay off. I’m not suggesting passes are reduced to £60, but the benefits of attracting those extra fans stretch way beyond gate receipts.

Just curious to know if this was being considered as an option for the future.

The work starts in June though, the point being that in ticket pricing for 2012, one of the on-costs the club will need to recover is the repayments + interest. Of course they may hold prices flat and bank on an increase in attendances/sponsorship. I'd be surprised if the total anual repayment were £54k. The stand is costing £1.9m and I'd heard the term was 30 years, so one of the numbers must be wrong. A £60 offer for the stand in year of launch would be an interesting idea and, as said, would be a good question for this week's video interview.

Didn't Huddersfield call on all Rugby League fans to attend the Galpharm for the biggest announcement in RL history, Which turned out to be something similar, Cheap Giants tickets?
