Thats a lame excuse that doesn't wash in my opinion, i have visited every rugby league ground in England and Wales since the mid seventies and can honestly say, the two Hull clubs are no worse than anywhere else for trouble in proportion to the size of their support, in fact i can remember Warrinton (Wilderspool) and Widness (Naughton park) been two of the worst grounds for trouble during the seventies and eighties but it didnt stop either Hull clubs fans traveling in large numbers to those or any other of the rugby league grounds.
You will always get a few numb nuts causing trouble at all sports grounds but it is and always has been blown out of all proportion in most cases.
You are welcome to Craven park at any time to enjoy the game of rugby league and the banter without any concern for your safety from the large majority of rovers fans.
