Welcome. Some users of this board enjoy a bit of banter/trolling/flaming/derailment. Some users, not necessarily even different ones, complain that banter/trolling/flaming/derailment prevent sensible debate and discussion. So this is (on a trial, let's see how it goes basis) the new one-stop-shop for all your stereotyped mudslinging needs (especially those of a cross-KuH nature). A palace must have drains. Not an entirely original idea, btw - see the wonderfully titled 'Fookwittery, Doylems and Buffoons Reunited' thread from September 2010 on Southstander, for example.
Please note the following:
1. The AUP DOES still apply here. 2. Outside of bicker thread, you do not talk about bicker thread. It is to be a quarantine location not a source of contamination. 3. Good natured, humourous insults will be tolerated (if you can't stand the heat, don't bloomimg flame). Nastiness and the pursuit of RLfans vendettas will not. 4. Those insults. The recently popular 'mong', is banned because of its derivation - see also 'retard', 'spaz' and 'flid'. 'Windowlicker', 'gormclops' and 'delusional gobspite' are all fine. The rest we'll play by ear. 5. There will likely be an indefinate period of adjustment before people realise that this is the natural home for their bantering/trolling/flaming posts and threads and stuff will have to be merged into it until then. At times bicker thread will probably make no sense whatsoever - but because it is designed for squabbling nonsense that shouldn't matter.
Enjoy.

Can I ask about yesterday's U20s result here? Normally Bertie is extremely quick off the mark to post it in a separate thread if you win. However, my concern was that because of the result (a 62-0 thrashing of a side including Cook, Latus, Taylor, Petersen, Bell, Sheriffe, Cox etc) if I did the same it might be treated differently, as trolling, if you will. Mad, I know, but maybe losses go in here and wins get their own separate thread.

"As each day passes, Mason's hopes of playing in the UK become less likely and he may be forced to find a last-minute NRL lifeline."
Which would be called newspaper speculation with no facts in it at all. He did a video for the Aus tour early in the week. Nothing at all to suggest he isn't coming just your need to satisfy your own ego.

Why get personal? Have you not read the comprehensive guidance provided by your rather excellent moderator at the start of the thread? I've said (a lot) that Mason will be here and there is no doubt about it. A Rovers director has said he'll be here for next week's game, apparently. Don't get shirty because you don't like this press report.

Have I said I never liked the press report? There is nothing new in it not to like, it's the same things that we've heard a 1000 times over. Still I see your back to quoting time lines for Masons arrival you actually seem more concerned about Mason then us Rovers fans. Truth I feel is that nobody actually knows when Mason will arrive and at this moment in time it's looking less likely that he'll be here for the Catalans game or even the Castleford game the week after..

Shouldn't this be on a thread of it's own and not in this bicker thread. regardless of the result it's a topic of conversation?

He's the biggest signing ever ever and this is a new press article on him. Why not share? People need advance notice of his movements as Hudgell said on the SL preview show that Craven Park will sellout when he gets here. Just sharing updates in the public domain.
