If the shoe was on the other foot, and there had been comments about O'Meley's performances being excellent at another club other than FC then fair point, but seeing as how he's been putting them in extending from the back end of last year then I see these opinions by Rovers' fans as not one wide eyed and who can form an opinion regardless of the fact he plays for FC.
FWIW, top player, you can't knock someone like O'Meley and Fitzgibbon because of what they have achieved previously, not to mention Fitzgibbon's kind words pre-derby game about Rovers

Look, I know you're struggling with the point here, let me help you. O'Meley (and Fitz as you brought him into it) incited some pretty nasty comments on here when they were announced as FC players. Here is a small sample:

At the end of the day, Fitzgibbon is a player 6 years past his best with O'Meley also with his best days behind him.
The article on O'Meley doesn't make good reading with the comments that his own coaching staff don't rate him as fairly damning.
The harsh reality for you is that your club has signed 2 rejects from the wooden spooners. Both players coming from such a losing culture will fit right in...
O'Meley? Err no thanks, well past his best validated by him playing for the bottom NRL club last year.

Yet suddenly O'Meley's the dog's bollox when the link appears at the start of this thread via Mason for Rovers next season- pure coincidence, of course.
