Got a text saying Willie was in Singapore last week then VRR states he is there this week so I think it is a regurgitated rumour that has gathered momentum over the past week.
As the club said the border agency do not email you to give you updates, once it is in their hands the next time you hear anything is when you get your Visa or get it declined. So if he does have it and the club are to get him here for Friday for a surprise announcement it will be much less of a surprise because no matter which airport he lands at in the UK there is bound to be a RL fan that spots him and texts their mates who use RLfans.
End of the day, he is a Rovers player, he will be here when he's here and if he has to wait 12mths like Eastwood then so be it. If he comes next year he's still going to cause just as much of a stir as he has this year he always will.
What must be a fact is that the club will not keep it underwraps to do a surprise surpise type reveal at a game, once he's here they will let everyone know so they can sell as many tickets for his first game / introduction to the fans as possible.

All the posts where right at the time but due to UNFORSEEN circumstances he has been delayed, the club expect him to be here to watch the game based on information given by the authorities. So go do 1.
That's a bit harsh. This is a thread about Mason and you've claimed 4 times to have the inside track on his arrival. A bit of context for those unfamiliar with your work in this area, delivered without personal insults, you'll notice, is relevant context, surely?

I have tidied this thread. Some people need to buck their ideas up significantly or they'll be taking a break from posting. We're all RL fans and this is meant to be good humoured fun.

Sorry.
