Having just read some of the disgusting garbage on the Wakey board about us vulturing their juniors, it makes me want the worst for Wakey. I really can't be bothered any more with them.

There's some great blokes I've met on here that are Wakey fans who I feel sorry for, but although there's Wakey tosspots trying to have a go at our club for helping them out by taking a player off their hands I'd still like to see Wakey carry on in SL, new stadium or not.

You're right. You've cheated, you've lied repeatedly, you've totally disregarded your suppliers, supporters and investors, you've created a great big hole for yourself and promptly dropped in it and blamed everybody else.

It's a complete joke. Vitriolic bile and it shows just how little some of their fans know. Throwing insults about mergers about and not seeing the hypocrisy of that. Crying how we have a sugar daddy and drawing up a shopping list for Mr Glover at the same time. It's a Huddersfield lad that's saving them too, I suppose when they lose a couple and that filters through they'll turn on him too.

Best academy a few years ago? Ha ha! Nope. The best academies tend to loan out their best lads to Championship or even SL sides. Sides like Wigan, Leeds, Saints; THEY have the best academies. The only reason Wakey lifted the pot that year was due to them not loaning out all their best kids, which gave them a pot but hindered the development of their kids.

They see what they want to see. They blame who they want to blame. Anyone but themselves. Then next week they'll be knocking on Ken's door, cap in hand, begging to loan a few players. Or maybe we'll be magnanamous and go and offer them a few on loan. After all, it will help their development and Wakey couldn't do any worse. Our kids did after all beat their first team in their own back yard a few weeks ago, not that we have a decent youth set up according to them.

There are some Wakefield supporters who are the essence of all that is good about Rugby League. They way these people have worked to raise money for good causes, worked to assist and grow WTW as a club into the community is to be commended.

Then you have the d!ckheads who are jealous of what Ken Davy and Huddersfield Giants have achieved. I raise this specifically because there is bile being spat over Hull KR, Catalans, Quins and Hull FC who have also signed Wakefield players - that's just reserved for us. Hopefully our 'unpaid helpers' will come along and issue a few bans to rid us of these scumbags before the RFL do it permanently!.

I agree with you one hundred percent. I could never undertstand the views of some of our posters who seemed so vehemently anti wakefield.. I was not on the messageboards when we were having our bad times so did not understand where all the hostility came from. yet after the last couple of days i can now understand it.

I have always tried to manage what were the worst excesses and the number of PMs i have had from our posters since starting to be a mod accusing me of being "pro wakefield" or "cosying up to my wakefield friends" was riduculous. even when raising money for the Adam Watene fund people had a go.

But after reading all the crap over the last couple of days on their site having a go at the Giants, Ken Davy or whoever was too much. If this is a only a % of what crap Giants had to put up with from some of the anti huddersfield brigade i can now understand why some of our posters hate Wakey with a vengeance.

I will not go down that route because i have met some great Wakey fans ( spent ages talking to two of them at Cardiff last week) but it has now got to the stage where i agree with ivor

When someone as reasonable and as knowledgable as Ivor feels like that how can you disagree.

As far as i am concerned now they are on their own sod them . I wonder whether it was worth the hassle i have had in the past.


Good luck to the decent Wakey fans they deserve better than they have got . as for the rest ( i will refrain from saying what i realy want to.)

I wonder if Ken has put an offer in for the Wildcat Dolls or their groundsman - both very good at what they do.
