Giants looked a lot fitter and more up for the battle than did wire. We outplayed them and out enthused them all game.
Awesome pack performance with good go forward from Eorl and Griff in particular. For me though it was the second row who with their tackling really stopped wire forwards getting any sort of platform. fa alogo and O'Donnell were very impressive.
Their defence allowed our creative players the opportunity to try things. A lot of the moves did not come off but it is nice to see us trying them out.
Interesting that Wire tried to keep the ball away from Jermaine who when he got it ran it back strongly. I thought he was very good.
Brough though was superb and he showed Chris Ashton how to do a proper dive.
Huddersfield Giants 2013 over achievers
Huddersfield Giants 2014 under achievers ??????????

dont know how many were above us in upper tier, seemed to be full off posh boring people when i managed to sneak up there for the saints/wigan game
Aiiiii was sat in there too with my two kids singing our hearts out for the lads, Robbos gang was near front just to our right, we were about 6 rows from front just behind some Cas fans, great result, great weekend
If i was to marry, i dont know if i ought to, if i would, if i should , i'd marry a Prop's daughter, she'd go down, i'd go down, we'd all go down together, we'd be alright in the middle of the night going down together!!

Both teams came to take 2 points and tried to play some good football. Maybe the result would have been different without the King and Grix problems and maybe it wouldn't.
Brough's slam dunk try made Chris Ashton look like an amateur!
I don't fancy playing you guys again at all this season if the body count is going be like last weekend.
I don't think we played well in attack at all, passing to the grass and hitting dummy runners with passes is not a good sign.
I do like O'Donnell, you can't beat a bit of biff! Hima and Fa'alogo certainly have form for dishing it out.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

anyone else notice stevo putting eddie down a peg or two when hemmings tried claiming warrington's injuries were the reason they lost, stevo then said something like come on eddie the giants were very good,to which eddie replied, yes they were but if warrington hadn't suffered those injuries blah blah blah.
2011 and the giants are pi$$ing on bonfires again already

The Huddersfield Bonfire Pissing Giants. Now that's a shirt I would buy.
