A freeze would certainly be a start with perhaps the RFL settling any bills that the transfer fees would pay off. I'm sure a deal could be struck so the new owners pay it back when the takeover goes through.
I dont pretend to know the ins and outs of both cases but there seems to me to be a marked difference in the way the RFL have treated the Crusaders compared to Wakefield.

It's a strange one regarding Hudds, I presume you mean because of their intrest in wakeys youngsters, if wakey are destined for nl1 then hudds paying a fee for their youth may help them in the short term rather than them losing them for free at the end of the season.

What happens now. Their buyer could pull out due to the playing staff being raped. If the buyers do pull out then the administrators have alot to answer for.

Lets also hope that no businesses were lost or peoples livelihoods taken away when the RFL sanctioned Crusaders writing off £1.5million of their £2.2million pound debt and ensuring the only debt they carried forward was the £700k they owed the RFL.

You see whilst I am in agreement with you about the people and businesses involved/owed money what I find a little bit confusing is why we are required to sell everything we can to pay our creditors but Crusaders can write off all their debts EXCEPT ONE.

what Huddersfield have done its underhand and unethical it really annoys me how disrespectful and arrogant motives they have shown Wakefield. i acknowledge there is rivalries between the two. but rl is a family and pooing on their doorstep is unacceptable while on they have put themselves on a high horse and strutting.
