Ben plays in every position when he comes on thats why he is the best utility player in the league and should be given the england shirt. We need him against australia he will frighten the life out of them.
Great stuff, so what position did he play when he came on?

Best utility player in the league? sinfield plays 13,6,7 and 9 you could play him at 11,12 and or in the centre. Not in the same class as sinfield that's just one bloke. He's noway as good as ablett who's played backrow centre and interchange forward In grand finals picking up 3 gf winners rings, he's played centre, second row, 13, prop and 6 for Leeds. Cockayne is not even the best utility in your team. murrell and newton are better.

Murrell is a loose forward that can play 6, Newton is an out and out back rower. I'd class neither of those as utility players. Sinfield is looseman for Leeds and with a fit 6 & 9 would ALWAYS play 13. The point I think that was being made is that Ben comes off the bench and plays anywhere where rovers feel a little pace needs to be injected whether that's in the backs, forwards or around the ruck. for that utility value Ben is priceless. Certainly changed the game for us when he came on.

Also give me Rovers back rowers and outside backs over Ablett any single day of the week.

It's a flawed logic to compare utility value based on the awards a player has picked up during his time in a dominant team. No disrespect to either Sinfield or Ablett, but in terms of the way Cockayne can transform the pace and seemingly the enthusiasm of the team when he comes on the pitch I think he's very underrated.
However, for true utility value I'd have to vote Sinfield as people overlook the fact that as well as 13,6,7,9,11,12,3 and 4 he also takes on the refereeing duties.
