Do we have more than the required number of club-trained in the top 25 earners, as it stands? (The grim inevitability of some gormer saying he's coming in place of Mason is a truly soporific prospect). Though I suppose we'd only be paying for ~8 months and he's not got many options if even Wakefield aren't interested, but still. Talented enough utility player, but I'd be helluva wary. OTOH - a shot to nothing? Strikes me as unlikely though.
