Holland could end up around 290-300 the way they are going. The bowling, Swann excused, has been simply awful and the fielding lethargic and dumb.
England have got no chance in this tournament. The bowling isn't strong enough.
Whichever way you look at it test cricket is hardly a 'sport' is it.
It basically involves at least 8 of the 11 players standing around all day when they are fielding and when its their turn to bat they just sit in the pavillion all day (or more than one day sometimes) until it's their go. The players have a real nerve to cite 'burn out' or 'injury' as reasons for being crap.
Test cricket should be lumped in with darts, croquet and bird watching as 'sports'
What other sport can you think of where players have that little to do they can sign autographs for spectators during the actual game?
The one day game is far better but even so it's barely a sport.
Hopefully England will head for an early exit and then we can concentrate on REAL sports like RL, RU and football.
hup hup Holland.
