With no current form for either team any outcome is possible.

Last year Hull opened with a win at St Helens. That didn't make Hull a better team and Saints easily outperformed them over the whole season.

I'm confident that Rovers too will outperform Hull over the whole season but I wouldn't put money on either team in this first game.

I cant see past us winning and winning comfortably. We will match them in the forwards, our half backs will control the game and our outside backs will finish them off.

People predicting wide margins for Rovers have clearly only been to a handful of derbies if that. They are unpredictable, however...
