Based on how much I hate Hull Fc and all things black and white is see the score 32-12 to the mighty Robins

Head on now I see a good victory for Rovers based on 5 things

1. Fitness, speed and depth of the squad.
2. Settled team and a massive incentive to win from within the club
3. 2 fantastic half backs
4. One of the best packs in SL
5. WILLIE MASON

Score still 32-12

Peter Gentle was rejected by Hull KR as their new head coach due to his lack of ambition.

You shouldn't base a score on how much you like a team, you should look at how good they are. This bitterness is just silly.

I'll accept 1 fantastic + 1 unproven
4. One of the best packs in SL
5. WILLIE MASON
I really don't see Willie Mason having any effect on this match.

Score still 32-12
If I go with what my head is telling me, I reckon it'll be a KR win. I just hope that it's not by such a big difference.

To be fair I really think we are that much better that Hull and I can see Hull missing out on the play off's.

Reason

1. Long will be out most of the year
2. Horne as much as I like the kid, he as lost it
3. Very skinny squad
4. Agar having his strings pulled by Kath the man
5. Westerman is a real gamble based on what he has done in the past 2 years
6. Berigan gone home is a massive loss
7. only 1 recognised hooker
8. Tansey
9. No real half backs
10. Radford is a cart horse now along with yeoman.
11. Make shift players out of possition ie Whiting FB, Manu @ centre and Washbrook @ off half as an example

A team low on confidence looking at their body language at Cas after they scored.

Doomed I think :SLEEPY:

Even if he does arrive before Cardiff (and I don't think he will either, I have heard end of March mentioned) I for one think it best to leave him out. We have prepared and trained all pre-season and for this game without him and looked well organised and in good shape against Salford. This is one game I don't want to lose and to include him would just unecessarily disrupt things and would be happy to leave things be, for this one game at least. Sundays 17/18 should be good enough, and I also wouldn't consider Craig Hall just yet either, Dull would target him like they did Latus. Give him time and he will be ready for Good Friday IMO

Does anyone know if the Forum will be on 'Listen Again' as I will miss it tomorrow! :(

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Rovers 36 - 14 Hull FC

Reason being, albeit against a poor Salford side the indevidual performances from players like Welham, Fox, Webster, Briscoe, Newton and most of the 18 that played were outstanding considering it is so early in the season.

Briscoe in the Salford game was much more involved in the line of attack, he was playing a sort of Lockyer full back role where he was always on hand to provide a run or a pass rather than just being involved in set plays that are called.

Mainly though Dobson and Green looked awsome, their passing from one side of the pitch to the other (didnt matter which way they were passing either) was something Rovers have not done in possibly 20 years or more. Green took the line on but had a really good offload close to the line or just as he broke through.

I also took great heart in the way our defenders worked for each other. Yes I worry that if some of their passes had stuck we'd have been in real trouble at times but for a friendly and with two weeks of training still to work on things I can see them problems being ironed out.

Hull on the other hand, had a good work out against Cas but do seem a tad unsettled. Tansey shows to me the lack of discipline instilled in players at Hull, yes they have had him in numerous times but he obviously hasn't been scared enough to stop! Players out of position, no real half back to partner Long and I may be wrong (I often am) but there doesnt seem the togetherness that there does at Rovers.

If Hull are to challenge in this game they need to work together and be prepared to die for the cause, other than this kind of commitment I see Rovers taking it with relative ease.

We're coming to make some noise!
